Bryan Wark shared this photo showing his earliest memory with his father as they build a sand castle together in 1969 near Santa Barbara, California. There`s such a sweetness in the photo, how could you not like it.

Stephen Rowe sent us this photo of him helping his dad wash his 'S' Type Jaguar. I think most fathers would be worried to let their toddler go near such a great car, but looks like dad here has his priorities right. Great photo!

I would think given this photo of Roxane Snider Anderson's father that she must have had a very active childhood. In fact I would say that unlike most situations where parents have trouble keeping up with their kids, I suspect they may have had trouble keeping up with him. Wonderful shot!

Ron Vaulkenburg sent us this photo of his grandfather taken on his 40th birthday in 1954. Everything in this photo screams 1950's Americana, from the curtains to the corner sofa, to what looks like Pyrex on the table, one thing above all stands out that's grandad's Napoleon pose with his hand in his shirt and undersized Napolean hat. It typifies the 'dad joke'. You can't help but smile.

John Trivisonno sent us this photo taken at the 'Man and his World' fair in Montreal. It's not hard to tell a dad is doing a good job raising his kids, you only need look at how happy his children are, and John looks very happy here. Thanks for sharing John.

Hard to say anything about this photo Jodi Smith posted of her dad. However, If you have a photo of your father with the words 'The BREAKFAST PIG is alive', then you have better stories of uour father than most of us do! Would love to know more!

Cindy Busi shared this photo of her dad with an American icon, the late 50's Corvette. She says he loved racing this car, and this photo proves it. There are no hubcaps on the Corvette as racers removed them because they came off in high speed turns. This is a dad who never told his kids to slow down! Thanks Cindy.

Caroline Grant sent us what I think is one of the sweetest MCM dad photos. We often forget that our parents were once young, and this photo shows a young couple not yet married, but already seemingly comfortable with each other as if they had already been married for years. It is a charming photo, thanks Caroline.
