In 1957 renown architect and designer Arne Jacobsen designed this classic minimalist cutlery. Originally produced by Michelsen of Demark these strikingly simple pieces were created to be “flatware without frills” and their clean, precise lines were considered a vision of the future. Or at least they did to Stanley Kubrick as they quite famously appeared in his 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Crafted in high grade 18/8 stainless steel they are still produced today by Georg Jensen and look as contemporary now as they did when introduced 60 years ago.
